Madam Fortuna VZW

We’ve designed this session together with Hand in Hand Against Racism to go beyond the usual diversity trainings where you simply sit and listen.

This workshop focuses on the subtle, everyday microaggressions most people aren’t even aware of.

It’s part theory, part practice.

We start with a short keynote to align everyone on one essential idea:
intention does not equal impact.

A reality check on how small, seemingly harmless remarks can accumulate and slowly erode trust, engagement and wellbeing.

But we don’t stop at theory.

A large part of this session is experiential.
We work on real-life scenarios.
Those uncomfortable moments when someone asks “Where are you really from?”
Or gives a compliment that doesn’t quite feel like one.

No finger-pointing.
No blame.

We focus on what you can actually do in those moments.

The goal?
To leave with a shared language.

To know how to act as an active bystander.
To give and receive feedback without shutting the room down.

Practical. Sometimes uncomfortable. Always necessary.

Because inclusion is not about being tolerated.
It’s about truly belonging.

Max. 15 participants
Target audience: middle management, HR managers, DE&I professionals

Culture Hacking (Afterwork)

Antwerpen (TBD)

Why do we do things the way we do?

More often than not, we’re stuck in invisible patterns and unspoken rules.

During this evening session, you’ll discover the art of the Culture Hack: small, intentional actions that can create a significant shift in group dynamics.

Whether in your community, your organisation or your workplace, learn how to drive meaningful behavioural change with minimal resources.

Join us, challenge the status quo, and leave with a concrete action plan you can apply immediately.

Doors open at 5:30 PM.
We start promptly at 6:00 PM and aim to finish around 9:00 PM.

Food, drinks and good energy included.

Diversity Fresco (Afterwork)

Brussels (EN)

The Diversity Fresco is an interactive workshop based on the collective intelligence of your team. Developed by ESSEC Business School, it uses a gamified, data-driven approach to map out the cognitive and social mechanisms that lead to discrimination. It’s not about pointing fingers; it’s about creating a shared understanding of how inclusion actually works.

It’s an experiential learning journey. You don’t just listen; you do, reflect, and conclude. The Fresco is science based and uses up-to-date research and data to move beyond anecdotes and opinions.

The "Fresco" format uses a set of cards to help a group visually map out the links between stereotypes, prejudices, and systemic discrimination. It’s designed to be equally impactful for "blue-collar" workers on the shop floor and "white-collar" executives in the boardroom.

What to expect:

  • Duration: app. 3 hours of interactive, experiential learning.
  • Methodology: A science-based journey to decode unconscious patterns.
  • Outcome: You’ll leave with a shared language and a clear "aha!" moment regarding diversity.

Practical details:

  • When: April 30 from 17:30 (starting at 18:00)
  • Where: Fix vzw, Sylvain Denayerstraat 51, 1070 Anderlecht
  • Preparation: No prior knowledge is needed. Just bring your curiosity!

Language: English
Snacks & Drinks are included.
